Take A Chef: How it Works

Take a Chef is not just a marketplace to connect private chefs with clients. We're a platform that empowers chefs to live their dreams and enables guests to craft unforgettable moments.

Sign up for free, set up your profile, craft your menus, and get ready to receive client requests.

Clients post requests, which are sent to chefs within a 50 km radius. Each client can receive a maximum of three proposals—this prevents overwhelming them with options and increases your chances of getting selected. The first three chefs to respond with a proposal can start a chat with the client directly on the platform.

Sending a personalized message has proven to increase conversion rates. In the chat, chefs can negotiate with the client, tailor the menu to their preferences, and add any extras to the proposal. Proposals can be modified as many times as needed. Follow-up is key—keep the conversation active to turn proposals into bookings.

Once a client selects their chef and menu, they confirm the booking through the platform. You'll receive a confirmation email along with the client's contact details.

Chefs do what they do best—deliver an unforgettable culinary experience. Don’t forget to kindly ask for a review at the end of the service!

Payment is sent via wire transfer within 48 hours of completing the service.

Clients receive a survey by email 24 hours after the service to rate their experience. Reviews are critical for building your reputation and directly impact your visibility on the platform.
