Partner Marketplace: how it works and what to expect

What is Private Chef Manager Marketplace?

The Partner Marketplace is a new booking channel where your menus can be discovered and booked directly by villas, concierges, resorts, and agencies.

It doesn’t replace your existing booking flow. It simply adds another way for you to receive bookings alongside your current requests.

With 300+ active partners on the platform, your menus can be seen by clients who can book you instantly. There’s no need for long conversations or back-and-forth. It’s a simpler way to fill your calendar with more bookings and grow your private chef business.

How does it work?

The Marketplace works with the information already available in your profile, so there’s nothing new you need to set up:

  • Your active menus are automatically published
  • Only verified menus are shown
  • Partners can book directly
  • You receive the booking already confirmed, no back-and-forth needed

The Marketplace is built around menus that are ready to be booked and executed, making the process faster and more straightforward. However, there is still room for small changes and individual requests from clients. The overall goal is to keep everything simple and efficient.

Our partners are typically premium services that offer high-value experiences, giving your menus visibility in a more curated, professional setting.

What is a verified menu?

A verified menu is a menu that meets the quality and information standards required to be visible in the Partner Marketplace.

To be verified, your menu should be complete, clear, and ready to present. This includes:

  • A clear title
  • Cuisine type
  • Pricing range
  • Cover photo
  • Description and structure of each dish (ingredients, starters, main, etc.)

Visibility and bookings

All verified menus can appear in the Marketplace, but how often you’re seen and how many bookings you receive depend on a few key factors. One of the most important is your pricing: menus priced competitively for your market are more likely to gain visibility and get booked. Additional factors include:

  • Service location
  • Real-time availability (updated calendar)
  • A complete profile
  • Your menu quality

Chef Tip: Your menu cover photo is the most important visual element in Marketplace. It’s the first thing partners see and often determines whether they click into your menu. Aim for a real, well-lit image that clearly represents the dish or experience you offer.

Keeping your calendar up to date is also key. It helps you show up more often and ensures that when someone wants to book you, you’re actually available, making the whole experience smoother for everyone.

Other elements that can help you improve your visibility include clear and descriptive menu titles, high-quality and consistent photos, and pricing that feels competitive for your market.

FAQs - Partner Marketplace

Menus and visibility

Can I choose which menus appear in the Partner Marketplace? Not at the moment. All active, verified menus that meet quality standards can appear automatically. In the future, you’ll be able to control which menus are visible per channel and whether they allow instant booking.

Can I edit or update my menus specifically for the Marketplace? Menu management is currently shared across all channels, so any updates you make are applied everywhere. Channel-specific settings will be introduced in future versions.

Can I update my menu photos? Yes, anytime. Your cover photo is especially important, as it’s the main image partners see in the Marketplace.

Are there specific requirements for photos? Cover photos should be high quality, well-lit, and show real dishes from your menu. Images with text, logos, or content that don’t represent the experience won’t be approved.

Will all the cuisines I offer be visible? Yes, as long as they’re linked to a verified menu with an approved cover photo.

How are menus selected and shown to partners? Right now, menus are mainly shown based on location and availability. Pricing also plays an important role—menus that are competitively priced for their market are more likely to gain visibility and attract bookings. More advanced filters and personalization will be introduced in the future.

Bookings and control

How do Marketplace bookings work? Partners can book your menus instantly, and you’ll receive the booking already confirmed without the usual back-and-forth.

Will I be notified before a booking is confirmed? You’ll be notified as soon as the booking is confirmed and all details are available.

Important: The Marketplace is designed around instant bookings rather than requests, making the process faster and more streamlined.

Service and requirements

What happens if the service conditions are not suitable? Standard cancellation policies apply depending on the case.

Can partners request changes to the menu? Yes, small adjustments (like dietary requirements) can be discussed after booking. Any price changes are handled through support.

Does the same commission apply in the Marketplace? Yes. The standard 20% Take a Chef commission applies.

Can I set different prices for the Marketplace? Pricing is currently unified across all channels. More flexibility will be introduced in future versions.

How do payments work? The process is the same: clients pay at the time of booking, and payouts are released approximately 48 hours after the service is completed.

Availability and operations

Is my calendar used to manage bookings? Yes. Your Take a Chef calendar is what defines your availability in the Marketplace.

What happens if I receive multiple bookings at the same time? Bookings are based on your calendar, so keeping it up to date is key. If availability isn’t accurate, any conflicts must be managed according to the standard policy.
